Is this home safe for babies and children?
Yes, there are 2 travel cots and 2 highchairs. Children should be properly supervised inside and out, with special attention around the water's edge and slipway.

How close is the nearest supermarket?
Skibbereen has a number of Supermarkets including Lidl, Aldi, Spar and Field’s Supervalu (who will deliver to the house if you place a telephone or online order)
Which airport is closest to Gortadrohid?
Cork Airport is about 90 minutes from Gortadrohid by car.

How long does it take to get to Cork from Gortadrohid?
By car, it’ll take you around 1 hour 45 minutes to get to Cork. It’s a lovely drive that will give you a tour of some local gems like Skibbereen, the village of Drinagh, and Curraghalcky Lake. Cork is a wonderful place to spend the day – and you can be back in time for tea.
Are there any local running or cycling trails?
Yes. The immediate area which is car free, has many quiet unspoilt lanes. The lane which runs around the island is popular for walking and running. For cycle trails check out the Skibbereen cycling hub

What is your cancellation policy?
50% non returnable deposit on booking and the remaining 50% one month before arrival. If cancelation is less than 1 month before arrival date there will be no refund.
